What Is the Function Of Bolection Moulds?
Bolection moulds are moulds that project beyond the surface of a frame/panel to hide the transition between 2 different levels.
Typically they are used for door frame and cupboard insets, to cap tongue and groove lining boards, and for wainscot panelling.
Some bolection mould designs are rebated to suit inset pieces.
